My name is Neelu Sarkar and I'm a writer of all things romance!

I was born and raised in Mumbai, India in a large and colourful family. From 2006-2011 I lived in the U.K. where I completed my Bachelors and Masters in Marketing. I then moved back home and to everyone's shock (including my own), I started a career in Makeup Artistry. I have spent the last 10 years working in Bollywood, on web series and epic films as a Makeup Artist.

It was during the pandemic that I decided to pursue my life-long passion for writing. I published my first book, "This is how it's done The no bullish*t edition" in June 2023. My dream though, has always been to write captivating, larger than life stories. I have since written a historical romance novel, that I am hoping to publish soon.

When I'm not writing, I spend my time watching documentaries, working on my fitness, and travelling to visit my family.

Lastly, if it's not already obvious, I spend every spare minute reading (my MOST favourite thing to do in the world!). While I have many favourite authors and books, I'm positively obsessed with fantasy and romance fantasy books at the moment.
